problem
In the custom jersey and event merchandise industry, purchasing decisions are driven primarily by trust. Prospective clients, particularly institutions and large organisations, require visible proof of prior work before committing to an order. Without a structured way to present past projects, converting high-value clients becomes significantly harder.
solution
A professional Framer-built landing page with a CMS-powered portfolio, allowing past projects to be showcased systematically. Institutional clients can verify credibility through real work samples before making contact, reducing friction in the sales process.
It started at 19, selling anime shirts online to fund a university application to Korea. The business worked well enough, but the instability became clear quickly. Trend-based products live and die by what is popular that week. One month the demand is there, the next it is not. That is not a business, that is a gamble.

The pivot came from recognising what was already available. Access to production partners, knowledge of the sublimation process, and an understanding of what organisations actually needed when they ordered jerseys for their teams. The shift from selling direct-to-consumer to offering B2B sublimation services changed everything.
Universities, government bodies, sports clubs, and event organisers all need the same thing. Custom jerseys, event merchandise, medals, and lanyards, produced reliably, on time, and at scale. AUQ was built to serve exactly that market. With production partners across Malaysia and a MOQ starting from as low as 10 pieces, the business could serve both small clubs and large institutions without changing the core operation.
The challenge as the client base grew was trust at first contact. A cold inquiry from a large institution carries a different set of expectations than a regular consumer order. They want to know who they are dealing with before they commit. The website was built specifically to address that moment, a clean, professional Framer site with a CMS-driven portfolio that lets the work speak before any conversation takes place. Institutional logos and real project photos do more than any sales pitch.
AUQ has since completed over 550 projects, served more than 150 clients, and crossed seven figures in revenue. What began as a funding strategy for a university application became a real business, built from the ground up with no external capital and no formal business background.
