Travellers and busy individuals face a recurring challenge with laundry management on the go. Existing solutions require manual coordination via messaging apps, offering no standardised booking process, no transparent pricing, and no reliable pickup system.

A streamlined web application that allows users to select a package, submit precise pickup coordinates, and complete payment in one flow. Orders are processed automatically, removing the need for manual intervention at any stage.

The idea came from a straightforward observation. Food delivery had been solved. Ride hailing had been solved. Yet organising laundry pickup while travelling still involved searching for a nearby laundromat, negotiating over WhatsApp, and following up manually to confirm whether clothes would actually be ready on time. The friction was unnecessary and the gap was clear.

Klynn started as a proof of concept before it was ever a product. The first operational version ran entirely on a Google Form, a Telegram channel, and manual WhatsApp coordination. A customer would submit their details, the team would receive a notification, and pickup would be arranged through direct messaging. The process worked well enough to validate demand, but every order required human involvement at every step. That was not a sustainable foundation.

The next phase was building the MVP with one clear objective: remove the operator from the order flow entirely. The booking interface was designed with the traveller in mind, someone unfamiliar with the area, potentially on a different currency, and expecting the same convenience they get from any modern consumer app. Package selection was kept simple and transparent. Leaflet API was integrated to capture precise GPS coordinates for accurate pickup locations rather than relying on written addresses. Stripe was connected to handle international payments cleanly, removing any friction for customers booking from outside Malaysia.

Once an order is placed, the system handles the rest. No manual confirmation, no follow up messages, no operator needed in the loop.

Klynn currently operates across four states in Malaysia and Bali, Indonesia. A traveller can book a laundry pickup at any hour, from anywhere, and the process runs without intervention.
